Katherine Jackson Releases a “Michael”-Style Track

TMZ says Katherine Jackson has released an unreleased song by her son Michael, titled Opis None, on JacksonSecretVault.com. Katherine is a business partner of Howard Mann at JacksonSecretVault.

Howard Mann took control of a warehouse full of items from the Jackson family after Joe stopped paying for their upkeep. The collection includes 273 master tracks from the Jacksons group, as well as some video footage. Mann says these songs were made toward the end of the Motown era and the beginning of the contract with Epic. The Michael Jackson Foundation objects to Mann’s actions. (More details)

Regarding the release of these songs—whose authenticity he claims is “100% verified”—Howard Mann said: “In an effort to take control of the confusion surrounding the authenticity of a new song that the Foundation has recently released (a short snippet of Breaking News was posted on Michael Jackson’s official website two days ago), we would like to share a 100% verified Michael Jackson song with the world for free.”

Of course, experts have confirmed Michael’s voice in Breaking News.
