Cirque du Soleil Offers: Michael Jackson’s Immortal World Tour

Jamie King is the writer and director of these shows. Michael Jackson’s Immortal World Tour begins in October 2011. The Michael Jackson Foundation and Cirque du Soleil jointly support these performances. They each cover 50% of the costs. However, in addition to the show’s profits, the Foundation will receive the rights to use anything that is associated with Michael Jackson from Cirque du Soleil.

In a statement released yesterday, it says:

“Cirque du Soleil opens an unparalleled window into the depths of the soul, emotions, and the heart of an art genius who transformed pop culture forever. This is a once-in-a-lifetime show.”

Before taking any action, Cirque du Soleil made its tickets available for three days starting November 3 exclusively to Michael Jackson fans. Fans can pre-order tickets on michaeljackson.com. Starting November 6, tickets will be sold publicly in 30 cities.
