Prince helps the Children’s Hunger Fund

In this unofficial photo taken on September 23, 13-year-old Prince, Michael’s eldest son, is seen volunteering at the Children’s Hunger Fund charity. Along with several classmates, he volunteered to work at this foundation. The work involved packing food items such as canned food, beans, rice, and pasta into more than 500 nine-kilogram packages to deliver to hungry children in Peru, and it was carried out in the foundation’s warehouse.

The Children’s Hunger Fund, or CHF, was founded in 1991, and over the years it has been recognized as one of the most effective and beneficial charities in the United States. The foundation’s goal is to help needy children across America and around the world. It has offices in Los Angeles and Chicago, as well as in developing countries. To date, more than $875 million has been spent through this foundation to help children worldwide.

In January of this year, Prince and Paris promised on the Grammy stage, when receiving their father’s Lifetime Achievement Award, that they would continue his path. Prince had said:

“Our father always cared about the earth and human beings. Through hard work and sacrifice, he helped many charities. In all of his songs, his simple message is ‘love.’ We will continue to spread his message and help the world.”

The King of Pop dedicated a great deal of time and money to helping various charities. He provided financial aid to the victims of Hurricane Katrina in 2005 in the U.S. After the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in the U.S., he held a charity concert, and before that, by establishing his own charity foundation called Heal the World, he had given life to many children in need—whether sick or caught up in war.
