Branca Says About Michael’s New Album
Longtime friend, lawyer, and trustee of the Michael Jackson Foundation, John Branca, told Vibe magazine that several well-known music producers will be involved in Michael’s new album.
"We’re finishing the album. Some of will.i.am’s, Teddy Riley’s, and Rodney Jerkins’s work will be on the album. We don’t want to release just 10 unreleased songs all together at once. We want to release an album worthy of the songs."
Michael has worked with these three men over the years as producers on his projects.
"Some songs were worked on personally by Mike. Michael always made more songs than were needed for an album. For example, he made "Billie Jean" during the Off The Wall album period, but for whatever reason, the team he worked with didn’t believe in its success. So there are many good, fresh songs for the projects we’re working on."
It has been reported that the new album will be released in November this year.
