Jerkins’ Plan to Release Unreleased Tracks from Invincible

Rodney Jerkins, aka "Darkchild," who worked as a producer on "Invincible," Michael’s last studio album from 2001, says he wants to release the album’s unreleased songs on a separate album. He says the two worked on many tracks for the Invincible album that did not make it onto the final record. He intends to release these songs as a tribute to Michael Jackson. He says that although there are many legal obstacles and difficulties, this album will definitely be released.

In his interview, Jerkins said that while working with Michael, he learned many things from him about the music release industry. He learned that you have to buy rights and become part of the system.

"Working with him was my childhood dream. Since I was 11, I knew I wanted to become a music producer, and I knew I wanted to work with him."

He says Michael was more realistic than people think.

"He was quiet around people he didn’t know. But Michael and I would hang out together in Miami and New York. He was a really cool guy."
