Michael Jackson Against the U.S. Constitution
Late last year, the American Revolution Center conducted a study with 1,001 Americans to measure how much citizens know about the history of this country. The overall result of this study showed that Americans are weak in recognizing their country’s history.
But one of the most shocking results was that the number of Americans who know that Michael Jackson created Beat It and Billie Jean is greater than the number who recognize the U.S. Bill of Rights as an amendment in their country’s constitution. This Bill of Rights guarantees individual and social freedoms, including freedom of speech, the press, assembly, religion, and the right to equality in court.
