ABC Wins Friday With a Two-Hour Memorial Special
On Friday, the U.S. television network ABC was the most-watched network of the day thanks to a special two-hour memorial program, “Michael Jackson: After Life.”
Interviews with people close to Michael who had never spoken to the media before, a report on his children, and a review of the police investigations into his murder formed the basis of this special.
With 4.8 million viewers, it was the most-watched summer program on this network in the past two years. The number of viewers increased by 1.7 million in the second hour of the broadcast, reaching 6.1 million.
