Apollo Honors the King of Pop and the Queen of Soul

Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, and Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Soul, will be introduced at a ceremony on June 14 at the Apollo Legends Hall in New York. Franklin will attend the event, and she will also celebrate her 75th anniversary that day.

Michael first performed in this hall in the 1960s with his brothers as members of the Jackson Five. They won and officially began their career.
