Paul Anka remembers Michael by singing

Earlier on this page, we had a news about Paul Anka and the song This Is It. During his concert performance in Chile over the past 22 months, he told the audience from behind the piano: "Years ago, a young man came to my house. He was 21 and he said he wanted to create a joint song with me. We spent weeks in my studio writing a song to release on an album. But unfortunately, it was never done. Recently, this man died in a painful way. They went to his house and found a song, and thought it was new. They were very excited and released it in a film. But they quickly realized that it wasn’t a new song—it was the same piece I had made with him years ago. We didn’t run into legal problems because, out of respect for him, I wanted everything to go smoothly without any issues. That’s why I allowed them to use the song we wrote together. The name of that person was Michael Jackson, and the song was This Is It." After this introduction, Anka sang the song, and when images of Michael were shown on the stage monitors, the crowd began to applaud. Michael’s voice accompanied Anka. Anka had previously performed this song on stage with Michael’s voice. Source: eMJey / accesshowbiz.com
