Michael’s Furniture Sold at Auction
During this year’s summer auction of Julien’s Auctions, on June 25 (the anniversary of the King of Pop’s death), precious furniture that Michael Jackson had ordered for his London home during the This Is It concert tour will be sold at the Planet Hollywood Casino Hotel in Las Vegas. This furniture is part of the “Music Icons Memorabilia” auction program.
For the first time, Julien’s Auctions will display the home layout that Michael Jackson never lived in. From March 16 to May 30 in Ireland, and from June 14 to June 25 in Las Vegas, the public will be able to see how Michael Jackson’s home looked with the furniture in a “Calmbo” style.
As a tribute to Michael, the company will donate a generous amount from the sale of this furniture to the MusiCares charity and to Joshua Hart.
This furniture, along with more than 200 Michael Jackson memorabilia items, will be sold on June 25.
For the first time, these memorabilia items will be transferred for display at the Pant 16 Casino Hotel from April 30 to May 9 in Macau—China—and will also be shown in Japan.
Some of Michael’s memorabilia includes:
A collection of David Nordahl paintings commissioned by Michael Jackson, the signed Beat It video jacket, the sunglasses used on stage and given to Cary Feldman, Michael’s military jacket from his wedding to Debbie Rowe, a white sequined glove, beaded shirts, and the sequined jackets used on the Victory Tour, as well as the handwritten and signed Bad jacket.
