Medical Board Revolts Against Conrad Murray

The California medical board has filed a request to revoke Conrad Murray’s medical license. The board, which issues medical licenses and prescribes drugs for doctors, says: “Dr. Conrad Murray is a danger that threatens the public.” The board believes that Murray “has taken his neglect and disregard in caring for the patient (Michael Jackson) who had trusted him to the highest level.” Revoking Conrad Murray’s medical license is a long and time-consuming process for the California medical board, so they asked the court for help to prevent Murray from prescribing medication. Judge Schwartz has temporarily asked Murray not to prescribe any sedatives or sleeping pills—especially propofol, which was the cause of the King of Pop’s death last June. In the coming weeks, the California medical board will meet with the judge on this matter. Source: eMJey / TMZ
