Praise for Michael at the Grammys

On January 31, at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, Céline Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, Carrie Underwood, and Usher—Grammy Award winners themselves—will come together to deliver a powerful tribute to this music legend, accompanied by Michael’s voice. The ceremony will be held at the Staples Center, the same venue that hosted Michael Jackson’s memorial event last July 7. A special Grammy tribute to Michael will also feature a brand-new 3D short film that Michael had created for the song “Earth Song.” The film, along with several others, was supposed to be shown during his London concerts while the songs were performed. To watch this 3D video, millions of free special 3D glasses will be distributed to fans starting January 24. Viewers watching the ceremony on TV will also be able to use the same glasses at home to enjoy this beautiful 3D presentation—something that was of great importance to Michael. “Earth Song” is a global call to save the world and protect the environment, and Michael believed that the London concerts would truly be an opportunity to deliver a message to millions of people.
