The company is releasing its movieIQ technology—an exclusive capability for live Blu-ray discs—on the Blu-ray disc of the film This Is It for the first time. With a Blu-ray disc on which movieIQ technology is enabled, and a Blu-ray disc player connected to the internet, fans can immerse themselves without interruption in the world of films and stars, and obtain any information—no matter how small or insignificant—about filming time, the soundtrack, production, and more. It is also possible to transfer scene-synchronized information from the Blu-ray player to personal computers or an iPhone by creating a connection between the Blu-ray playback device and these devices. But for the This Is It disc, users can also create a list of their favorite songs using this new technology and post it on Facebook or email it.
