London tribute concert canceled

After Michael’s death, his brother Jermaine had been talking in the media about holding a concert in September with music stars and in his honor.

At first, the concert was supposed to be held in London at the O2 Arena—the same place where Michael was going to perform his comeback concerts on stage. Jermaine then moved the venue for the concert to Austria. But as it was said, due to lack of funding and the fact that the artists and performers were not ready, the performance date was pushed to June of next year, and the location was set as Wembley Stadium in London.

On Friday, news came that the Austrian institute supporting the concert had withdrawn from the plan. No reason was given for this withdrawal. The Austrian organization announced that it had not been informed about Jermaine’s plan to hold a London tribute concert.
