A car crash involving Michael’s children’s security vehicle
On Wednesday, Michael’s children were inside a car heading to a karate class when one of the cars belonging to the pesky paparazzi that was chasing them collided with their security vehicle and fled the scene. Under California law, leaving the scene of a crime is a crime. Fortunately, the children were not in the crash car, and it has been reported that the damage was minor. Police are investigating the incident.
On August 31, 1997, the vehicle carrying Princess Diana was fleeing paparazzi when it crashed, and all three occupants were killed. A jury on April 7, 2008 officially declared the paparazzi responsible for the death of Princess of Wales.
Michael Jackson was well aware of this danger and kept his children away from these people for a long time. These photographers do anything to get a piece of a photo of celebrities. From street chases to climbing over the walls of their homes—and sometimes even stealing their personal belongings. In doing so, they put not only celebrities’ lives at risk, but their own lives as well.
