Thriller dance record for Mexico City

On Michael’s birthday, August 29, people across the world celebrated him, and Mexico City was one of the cities that made headlines in the media with a high number of participants—13,000.

Confirmed by officials from the world record registration, 13,597 people collectively and simultaneously performed the Thriller dance (Michael’s famous music video) at a location in Mexico City, and they registered their record in the Guinness World Records book. Many of these people wore costumes of the dead and were led by a Michael impersonator dressed like him.
