One person close to Murray testifies
Nicol Alvarez, one of the women familiar with Dr. Conrad Murray, has been summoned to court to testify before a jury after receiving a subpoena.
On Tuesday, the woman’s lawyer, while confirming the news, said that she had been given no other information. A court summons is a strong way to compel witnesses who do not want to get involved in the case. The woman is expected to testify in court in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning local time. The lawyer did not clarify the relationship between the woman and Murray, but local newspapers consider her to be Conrad Murray’s girlfriend. It is said that they also have a newborn son. Last month, the woman’s apartment was searched by police.
Conrad Murray is the lead investigator’s suspect in the murder case of Michael Jackson. Murray is a cardiology specialist. He said that for six months, every night he injected Michael with the anesthetic drug propofol so that he could sleep. On June 25, Murray injected Michael with a deadly combination of six sleeping and anesthetic drugs, one of which was the anesthetic propofol, which led to the King of Pop’s cardiac arrest and death.
Investigations into this suspicious death began on the same day and are still ongoing. As it appears, this case will not be resolved anytime soon. There is no time limit for the police in this case, and according to experts, the police want to have sufficient reasons and evidence before presenting the case to court and filing charges against Murray.
