Lines form for This Is It movie tickets
From the first hours of Sunday, sales of This Is It movie tickets begin, but the lines have already formed. People started lining up around the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles at 5:00 PM Thursday to buy This Is It tickets. The film was made using more than 100 hours of Michael’s recorded rehearsals prepared for the This Is It tour.
A 53-year-old woman standing in line says: “I’ve never done anything like this before, but M.J. is worth it.”
The first 500 people in line receive special tickets designed by Michael himself for the This Is It concerts in London. This is one of the reasons some people are willing to wait more than 48 hours in line.
One of them says: “I heard these tickets are really beautiful.”
These tickets have a 3D design. Buyers of concert tickets for This Is It were offered that instead of receiving money, they could have one of these beautiful tickets.
Ticket sales begin after midnight on Saturday. Only two tickets are sold per person, and among the first 500 people in line, each person is given only one of these 3D tickets designed by Michael. For the film’s world premiere on October 27 in Los Angeles, 3,000 tickets are available. The public release of the film begins on October 28 in different cities around the world for two weeks.
