Police warned people to stay away from Forest Lawn
Police in Glendale, California, have warned people not to go near the large Forest Lawn cemetery on the day of Michael Jackson’s burial. Police have put in place strict security measures and warned: “Stay at home, because even if you come, you won’t even see the grass at Forest Lawn.”
On September 3, June 12, Michael Jackson will be buried in a private ceremony at a cemetery located on the grounds of the Raj trees in Forest Lawn.
At first it was announced that Michael would be buried on his birthday, August 29. But the burial was postponed to August 31 and ultimately to September 3.
On the day of Michael’s burial, police will be on standby by blocking the surrounding streets, setting up protective barriers, and placing surveillance helicopters on site, in order to prevent unwanted visitors from entering the cemetery and to allow the family of the Jacksons to hold a private, peaceful ceremony.
