The judge approved the production of Michael-branded products

The administrators of the Michael Jackson Foundation, John Branca and John McClain, asked the court for permission to produce products bearing Michael’s name and logo—and on Friday they reached their goal. Judge Baclough, by stamping approval on the request of these two lawyers, will unleash a wave of Michael products onto markets around the world. From calendars and yearbooks to stationery, posters, coins, and more. Baclough also agreed that the book “Moonwalk” will be sold in China, South Korea, and several Eastern European countries. He also allowed the video of Jermain’s performance of “Smile” at the Michael memorial on July 7 to be sold on iTunes. Now it is expected that Michael Jackson will conquer the market as well—not only the music charts. But the judge’s work is not finished yet. On Monday, he must decide on the production of a feature film based on Michael’s rehearsals. Source: eMJey / AP
