Friedman: A woman is behind the scenes
And now, another mystery about Michael Jackson. Who is the woman who tipped off the police about Michael’s doctor, Arnold Klein?
In a search warrant released on Monday, there was a mystery. An anonymous woman had called the drug enforcement agency and mentioned Dr. Arnold Klein, a dermatologist, saying that this doctor prescribed medications for Michael. They named Omar Arnold (who was mentioned in this column for the first time two months ago) as well as Fernanda Diaz, Peter Madooni, and Josephine Baker in the warrant. Police found a medical prescription stamped with Omar Arnold’s seal in Michael’s home.
I’ve been told that after the recent revelations about Conrad Murray, it’s Arnold Klein’s turn—and since he had a relationship with Michael for more than 20 years, the evidence that will be revealed about him must come with more details. And besides Michael, everyone in his team was also connected to Klein.
But who is this woman? I’ve been told it’s none other than Debbie Rowe, the mother of Prince and Paris—two of Michael’s children. Debbie Rowe began her work in the 1990s as a nurse at Klein’s office, and it was there that she met Michael. (They married in 1996, and Prince and Paris were born in 1997 and 1998.)
Debbie believes Arnold Klein is responsible for Michael’s medication problems. In recent weeks, Klein fired Debbie. When Klein spread the rumor that he is Prince and Paris’ father, Debbie became extremely angry and, according to one of her friends, “made her skin break out in hives.”
Debbie is one of many people who knows what Klein has done to Michael over the years and can certainly be an excellent witness in court.
