Michael’s Week on TV One

The American TV network TV One will begin airing "Forever Michael Week" starting July 26 at 8:00 PM New York and Washington time (1:00 AM London time and 4:30 AM Monday, May 5 Tehran time). This seven-day tribute program is dedicated to Michael Jackson and in his memory. During this week, the documentaries "The Jacksons: An American Dream" and "The Michael Jackson Story"—a new documentary—as well as a concert held in 2001 with Michael and many stars to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the King of Pop’s solo career in New York will be shown. Michael Jackson’s week begins with the documentary "The Michael Jackson Story" airing on Sunday night, July 26, at 8 PM, with a repeat at 11 PM. In this documentary, to tell the story of Michael’s music and life—from the time he was a shy child in Gary to these last days when he left the world as a music idol and symbol—private films, exclusive archives, and interviews are used. Likely, this documentary will include interviews with Michael’s mother, his brother Jermaine, his sister Latoya, Susan DePasse his private teacher, and the person who discovered the musical talent of the Jackson family—Smokey Robinson, one of the executives at Motown who taught Michael and his brothers, and many others. The concert was held at Madison Square Garden in New York. It was Michael’s first performance after 10 years, and in it, the Jackson brothers reunited on stage after 17 years and performed their old songs.
