Los Angeles Police Say They’re Not Considering Murder
Following rumors published by TMZ about the possibility of Michael Jackson being killed, the Los Angeles Police Department stated clearly that, at present and based on investigations carried out so far, Michael Jackson has not been murdered.
It was also reported that Michael’s family had moved his body—still not buried—into the basement of the main building at Forest Lawn.
Michael’s coffin, which had previously been in the basement belonging to Barry Gordy, was identified by people. The Jackson family, unhappy with people’s intrusions and visits, moved Michael’s coffin to the basement of the main building. It is still not clear when and where Michael’s body will be buried.
Some family members want to bury him on his own personal property, Neverland. According to Santa Barbara laws, burying people’s bodies on private property requires an official permit, and Michael’s family can bury him at Neverland after obtaining the necessary permit.
