Request for a second autopsy
As previously reported in the news, the Jackson family has requested that Michael’s body be subjected to an autopsy for a second time. Jesse Jackson, a civil rights activist, a family friend, and someone who had known Michael since childhood, took the podium in Chicago on Saturday and told reporters:
"Michael practiced three hours a day for his concerts. He had successfully passed a fitness test. This is unusual. We don’t know what happened. Was he injected? And what was injected? These are logical suspicions that need to be addressed."
Jesse Jackson says the Michael family is grieving, and the wound they carry from his sudden passing remains because of the mystery and secret hidden in this death.
The ambiguities surrounding Michael’s death have led his family to hand over his lifeless body to the coroner’s office again so it can be cut open.
On Saturday, Michael’s sisters, Janet and Latoya, went to their brother’s rented house in Los Angeles and then left the location. They did not answer questions from reporters.
Before that, earlier the same day, eight moving trucks entered Michael’s home and loaded up his household belongings. It is said that Joe Jackson had instructed them to move Michael’s items from his house to a storage unit.
The Jackson family has gathered at their Encino home to decide on Michael’s funeral and the fate of his children. According to one source close to the family, the children are stunned, confused, and sad.
Michael’s mother, Katherine Jackson, has hired Mr. Landel McMillan, who worked as Michael’s lawyer in some of his financial cases last year, to handle the legal and financial affairs of her deceased son.
Contrary to rumors that had circulated in the media about Michael stepping away from his family, a family source says that Michael had been in regular contact with his family members, especially his mother, Katherine.
