Michael’s doctor: I didn’t inject anything into him

On Sunday, the representative of Dr. Conrad Murray—the doctor who witnessed Michael’s death—announced that Conrad Murray told the police that on Thursday, June 25 at noon, he found Michael in his room on the bed. While he was not breathing, his body was still warm and his heart had a weak pulse. Murray said that he immediately began artificial respiration and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Murray says that before Michael’s death, he did not prescribe any medication for him or inject painkillers such as Demerol or OxyContin. Previously, it had been rumored that his doctor injected Demerol into him the night before Michael’s death. Dr. Murray also stated that any medication he prescribed for Michael was done at Michael’s own request. Because of the ambiguities surrounding Michael’s death, his family has requested another autopsy, and it is said that Dr. Murray himself agrees with the family to conduct this autopsy.
