Michael’s body was handed over to his family

Michael’s body was transferred to the coroner’s office in a helicopter on the afternoon of Thursday, June 25 (early Friday morning, June 26, Tehran time) for an autopsy. After the autopsy and sampling from Michael’s body, the coroner’s office returned Michael’s body to his family late Friday night local time. However, because of the suddenness of Michael’s death and the ambiguity surrounding the cause, they have requested a second autopsy. The coroner’s office has reported that no signs of criminal activity were found on his body. Police officers said they will not provide details to the media due to the family’s request that the matter remain confidential. But they said that determining the main cause of Michael Jackson’s death may take 6 to 8 weeks. The Jackson family is busy deciding on Michael’s funeral arrangements.
