TV Host Feels Close to Michael

British TV host Dermot O’Leary, who on the night of March 5 was responsible for calling Michael on stage at a press conference, says that after a brief meeting with Michael that night, he felt an emotional closeness to him. He said that with a very short conversation with Michael on stage, he felt a sense of connection and friendship with the superstar.

He tells The Sun:

"Jackson asked me, ‘Is the caption text (the page where the text appears) clear?’—I said yes, Michael, it’s clear... I think that’s how, so simply, a bond between us was formed."
