Ticket Presale Has Ended

The ticket presale for Michael’s concerts in London began at 7:00 a.m. today and ended a few hours ago with all tickets sold out.

Due to the unprecedented response from the public, 20 more concerts have been added to Michael’s schedule, and perhaps more will be added. Since March 5, after Michael’s official announcement that he would perform 10 concerts in London in July, registration for tickets began on michaeljacksonlive.com. Within a short time, registration by one million people shocked everyone. The volume of requests was so high that the site ran into problems.

Fans who managed to register received a code. Today, these fans—having their code number—were able to obtain entry permission to the O2 Arena during the ticket presale. The organizers of these concerts say that they have kept half of the seats for each concert, so they can offer them to fans on March 13, when general ticket sales begin at the box office.

Chris Edmonds, executive manager of Ticketmaster, says: "We saw an unprecedented demand for Michael Jackson’s concerts at O2. Unfortunately, due to technical problems, we were not able to receive all ticket purchase requests. We apologize to all fans who couldn’t access the website. But fans can continue trying to buy tickets."

It has been said that Michael Jackson, who is currently in the United States preparing for his concerts, is thrilled by the extraordinary reception his concerts have received.
