Auction schedule for Michael’s assets

Julien Auction has announced the schedule for the auction of Michael Jackson’s items and memorabilia. The auction will begin on April 22 this year for four days in the Beverly Hills area in the state of California, USA. Each day, and across eight dedicated sessions, a distinct category of these items will be put up for auction. The classification of these items is arranged to match the auction catalog books. The information released about this auction is as follows:

Auction title: King of Pop: Once in a Lifetime: Auction of Michael Jackson’s Personal Property Exhibition and auction location: Near Beverly Hilton, Wilshire, Beverly Hills, California, United States. Exhibition dates: April 21–14, 2009 Auction dates: April 25–22, 2009 April 22: Session one: Garden sculptures and furniture outside the home Session two: Household furniture and decorative and functional items April 23: Session three: Household furniture and decorative and functional items Session four: Antiques, paintings and artistic and functional items April 24: Sessions five and six: Entertainment, games and memorabilia and items related to Disney April 25: Sessions seven and eight: Memorabilia from Michael Jackson’s life and career A portion of the proceeds from this auction will go to the MusiCares charity organization.

Online bidding and viewing of nearly two thousand items from Michael Jackson’s assets will begin on February 15. A museum-like display of these items will also begin one week before the auction, starting February 14. The auction will be broadcast live on US TV.
