Michael Meets a Bollywood Actor
Hrithik Roshan, a Bollywood actor from India, is not only a fan of Michael Jackson, but also follows his dance moves. In many dance scenes of his Indian films, he has used Michael Jackson’s dance moves.
When two giant men entered Hrithik’s makeup room and introduced themselves as Michael Jackson’s bodyguards, Roshan couldn’t believe what he was seeing. Hrithik, who had come to Los Angeles to film Kites, was getting made up for filming when he was stunned to see Michael entering his wagon.
Filming was taking place at a $38 million mansion in the Bel Air area of Los Angeles. Apparently, Michael—who was looking to buy or rent a property in the same area—had gone there to check the mansion.
When Roshan learns that Michael is there, he requests a meeting, but Michael goes to meet him himself.
One source close to the Indian actor said: “Michael came to the mansion and went into the makeup room. He introduced himself to Hrithik and Barbara Mori (the Mexican actress in the film): ‘My name is Michael.’ It was a funny scene—someone the whole world knows was introducing himself. The two talked for a short time, and then Michael left his wagon.”
Roshan says: “Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been a hard-core fan of Michael Jackson. My father (Rakesh Roshan) had asked the owner of the mansion for permission for us to go meet Michael. But Michael came to the room to see us himself. That memory is etched in my mind.”
According to Roshan: “Michael was very curious about our film.” He jokes: “Michael, who is famous for wearing a glove, didn’t wear a glove that day.”
