Eminem, in a new interview with People magazine, again talked about meeting and working with the King of Pop: Question: Earlier this year, you collaborated with Michael on the Thriller 25th album. Eminem: That collaboration was unbelievable. From the very first moment we met face to face, it was like we’d known each other for years. I’ve always been one of his biggest fans. I knew everything about him. It amazed me that he knew so many things about me, and that he was also a fan of mine. We became friends immediately. Question: What surprised you about him? Eminem: That he was so humble, so sharp, and so intelligent. Sometimes, when you’re influenced by the things the media says about him, a certain mindset forms in you. But he is completely the opposite of what the media says. You think that an artist as big as him, with such a capacity of talent, must have unpleasant traits, including arrogance or self-absorption.
