Auction of Michael’s Personal Assets

A diverse collection of treasures from Neverland will be put up for auction in a ceremony held over 5 days starting April 21 next year. At this event, 2,000 items from Michael’s possessions will be offered for sale, including the lavish entrance doors of Neverland, a stunning collection of fine and decorative artworks, life-size bronze and marble plaques and sculptures, and mementos from Michael Jackson’s life and music—such as the legendary rhinestone glove. Among them there will also be entertainment and memorabilia from the world of programming, as well as garden statues from Michael’s personal collection. signed-catalogs.jpg Michael personally arranged this auction, and a set of six catalog books signed by him will also be sold at the auction. He plans to donate part of the proceeds from this auction to the MusiCares charity organization, which was established by the Recording Academy to help needy musicians. These items will first be displayed to the public on April 14 to 20, 2009, in the Wilshire area near Beverly Hills in the state of California, USA, and then they will be auctioned from April 21 to 25, with the ceremony broadcast live on television.
