Samantha Mumba and Her Experience Meeting Michael
Female singer Samantha Mumba once again talks about the memory of her meeting with Michael Jackson. This time, it was in Dubai, around the year 2006.
In 2007, she also described in an interview how, when both of them were in Los Angeles, she and Michael had discussed music, dancing, and recording songs for hours. At the time, Michael told her that he wanted to help Samantha’s musical career progress and advance, and that he had written many songs that he would like to give her. Samantha now divides her time between Los Angeles and Dublin, Ireland.
She says about her experience with Michael in Dubai:
"Meeting Michael was like meeting a saint. He had an amazing aura around him. He was very spiritual, magical, and even legendary. I was truly stunned. This man has no bad traits in him. He was so kind and just unbelievably so.
I didn’t know what to expect. If I’m being honest, I have to say it was because of the things we read and hear so much about him. When I walked into the room, he was the most humble, intimate, and friendly person you could ever hope to meet. He also has a very tasteful sense of humor. He kept telling jokes until I was in stitches from laughing. It was strange because at that moment I was thinking that I’m in this room laughing my head off with Michael—no one would ever believe that.
Everyone in the music industry knows he made history. But I can still picture him with another incredible album. I’m very interested in seeing his performance. He’s a perfectionist, so it takes a long time for him to release something. But if he puts on a concert in Ireland, I’ll definitely go to watch."
