Stan Winston has died

This past Sunday, Stan Winston (Stan Winston), the Oscar-winning artist known for special effects in films such as Jurassic Park, Aliens, Terminator, and Edward Scissorhands, died at the age of 62 at his home, surrounded by members of his family, from cancer—an illness he had been battling for seven years. Over four decades of artistic activity, Winston had worked with major directors such as Steven Spielberg, James Cameron, and Tim Burton.
