The King of Pop Was Inducted into the Hall Of Fame in the UK

Last night, Michael was introduced as the musician of the 1980s at the annual Hall Of Fame music ceremony held at Hackney Empire in London, after outshining Prince, R.E.M., George Michael, and the Spice Girls.

In a poll conducted last month, the UK’s Channel 4 asked the public to vote for the best musicians from the 1950s to the 1990s.

At the ceremony, awards were presented to Robbie Williams for the 1990s, Michael Jackson for the 1980s, Queen for the 1970s, Rolling Stone for the 1960s, and Cliff Richard for the 1950s. Michael Jackson was not present to receive the award.

This is the fourth time that Michael has been inducted into the Hall Of Fame during his artistic lifetime.

The ceremony will be broadcast on Sunday, November 14, on the UK’s Channel 4.
