Billie Jean tops the list

In a public opinion poll by the English TV network VH1, the song Billie Jean was selected as the best song of all time, receiving the highest number of votes.

Billie Jean, the highly successful 1982 song by Michael Jackson, topped VH1’s chart of the network’s best songs. More than 20,000 people took part in this vote, and almost half of them voted for Billie Jean. Four of Michael Jackson’s songs are among the top 100, and three of them—listed below—made it into the first forty songs:

Billie Jean ranked #1, Earth Song ranked #22, and Black Or White ranked #31.
