Six-year-old Nalani Kelley goes to Neverland

Yesterday evening, Michael Jackson returned to his private home, Neverland Valley Ranch, and was greeted by 600 friends, fans, and family members who were ready to support him at a time described as "somewhat of a problem." The gathering was named after one of his number-one songs, You Are Not Alone (You’re not alone). According to CNN, Michael’s official spokesperson, Stuart Backerman, had attended a press conference outside Michael’s home before the gathering. In describing Michael’s condition, he said, "He’s great. He’s doing well. He’s continuing completely healthy. Of course, it’s clear that he’s been driven to the edge in his fight against the accusations. That’s what friends are for—the things friends often do, and that urgency to help and support, and I’m sorry to get emotional, but loving the people who are going through a somewhat difficult time." Standing beside Michael’s coordination official, Kevin McLin, he continued: "This program was originally a fan-driven event, meant to show their support and love." According to him, the participants were made up of "long-term fans who had become friends." Among the 600 participants, Lionel Ritchie, the former head of Motown Bobby Taylor (who discovered Jackson 5), Mario van Peebles, tennis star Serena Williams, rapper MC Hammer, comedian Eddie Griffin, American Idol host, and DJ radio host Ryan Seacrest, musicians including Rodney Jerkins and Jermaine Dupri, baseball star Darryl Strawberry, Sylvester Stallone’s mother Jackie Stallone, one of the members of the English music group Sugar Ray Mark McGrath, actor Robert Townsend, comedian from the film Rush Hour Chris Tucker, and two musician brothers Nick Carter (from Backstreet Boys) and Aaron Carter were mentioned. According to the Fox network, the entire family was present, including all of Michael’s siblings along with their children, and of course Michael’s parents.
