This segment was supposed to be one of the highlights of the opening episode of the new series of these programs on BBC1. The show’s officials emphasized that canceling the airing of this video has nothing to do with the recent allegations. A spokesperson for the program said: “What a shame — we can no longer exclusively broadcast Michael Jackson’s video for the first time, featuring his performance of a song from his new album, to the world. This decision was made by Sony.” A Sony spokesperson said: “Editing work on the video is still underway, and it was far behind the scheduled timetable, which is why it’s impossible to use it. The video will be ready on Wednesday, and then they will be able to air it on one of their upcoming programs.”
