December 5, 1382 (Azar 5, 1382) - Divorce Lawyer: There Was No Talk of These Accusations

A lawyer representing the mother of the child who accused Michael was involved in her divorce case, and said that until recently this family had never accused Jackson of sexually abusing the boy. Michael Manning said on Monday that he remembers the child’s mother had been consistently making positive remarks about Jackson up until last month of Ordibehesht (May). Manning said, “At that time she was saying that Michael treats them very well.” When asked whether they said anything else about Jackson, he said, “They didn’t say anything bad. I don’t know how their relationship deteriorated. They didn’t talk about it that much. They weren’t that obsessed with the fame of a star.” The child’s mother filed for separation from her husband in 2001 and asked the court to take custody of her children. Manning said he is still representing the woman in the divorce matter, although he hasn’t spoken with his client since Ordibehesht.
