CBS special postponed to another time

3:26 a.m. - Just hours after the press conference about Michael Jackson, the CBS television network announced that, due to issues that have arisen, it is postponing the broadcast of its special program about Michael to the future. The one-hour program was supposed to include a performance of Michael’s latest song, One More Chance. Definite news that the special would air was announced by Viacom, the owner of the CBS network, last Monday. We will consider airing this special after the current run of its schedule has run its course.” No replacement program has been introduced yet, and on the CBS website, the special Michael Jackson Number Ones is still listed for 10 p.m. next Wednesday (local time). Two weeks ago, a television film that had been made based on the life of Ronald Reagan, the former U.S. president, and for which heavy promotion had been done, was also removed from the schedule because it appeared to be against the former president.
