October 15, 2003 – Michael’s Appearance at the Radio Music Awards Confirmed

Stuart Backerman, Michael Jackson’s spokesperson, announced that Michael will attend this year’s Radio Music Awards ceremony, which will be held in Las Vegas, on Monday, November 5. Michael will receive a special lifetime achievement award, which will be named after him and presented to other artists in the coming years. Although many radio stations in America have included Michael’s name among the performers in their promotions, it has now been officially announced that Michael will not perform at this ceremony. As we had previously said, the program will be broadcast live across the United States on NBC.
