A New Statement from Michael

Earlier this week, National Enquirer published a story claiming that Michael Jackson was hospitalized in critical condition due to excessive drug use. This story is completely baseless. Although publishing such stories in local newspapers like National Enquirer is nothing new or strange, in recent weeks similar stories have emerged from the office of Thomas Sneddon, the Santa Barbara prosecutor—each of which claims something about the King of Pop. Based on this, Michael’s spokesperson, Ms. Raymone Bain, released a text on his behalf, which you can read below: ”Michael Jackson has been working on his new song along with many other artists, and I have been by his side the whole week plus today. He is doing well. I have never seen him healthier or more cheerful. Whoever is spreading false information about Mr. Jackson through the media should start thinking right now about hiring experienced lawyers for themselves, as well as a number of irresponsible journalists who trust these sources and publish this false information in newspapers. Mr. Jackson’s patience has run out. The green light that people thought they had to deliberately challenge Michael Jackson’s character and honesty has now turned red.“ It is interesting to note that the publication of these stories and negative rumors about Michael—apparently also not unrelated to Thomas Sneddon’s office in Santa Barbara, which accepted defeat earlier this year—has coincided with the news of the release of his new collection.
