Michael’s Jewish Lawyer Defends Him

Some time ago, a phone conversation audio tape from two years earlier—claimed to be connected to Michael Jackson—was broadcast on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” Because of the anti-Semitic conversations contained in the tape, Michael was accused of being anti-Semitic. Following that, Brian Oxman, Michael’s Jewish lawyer, said regarding the recent accusations against his client that he is anti-Semitic, that Michael has no hostility toward Jews and that he will defend him in an upcoming dispute with the Anti-Defamation Committee. The Anti-Defamation Committee has demanded an official apology from Michael Jackson. Meanwhile, ABC, the American network that aired the mentioned phone conversation tape, admitted in a conversation with the London-based newspaper The Guardian that it cannot determine for sure whether the voice belongs to Michael Jackson. Abraham Foxman, the secretary of this committee, had claimed about Michael’s accusations: ”Michael Jackson is anti-Semitic and has not learned from his past mistakes. It seems that every time he gets into trouble, he blames it on the Jews.“ Brian Oxman, who is himself Jewish, emphasized in a conversation with New York Daily that during the 15 years he worked for the Jackson family, he never observed any anti-Jewish behavior from Michael.
