The Sweetest Experience for Me

"Today I want to talk about the best experience of my life. Whenever I said anything before, it was about experiences I gained from reading Michael’s poems and speeches. But this time, I want to share with you the experience I had with my own eyes last week. Last week, Michael was in London, and on Saturday I went with other fans to his place of residence, the Dorchester Hotel. We stood outside the hotel from the morning to see him, but we heard from one of Michael’s drivers that his little son was sick, so Michael would not leave the hotel today. We went toward the window of his room to call him. But the police standing there warned us that if we shouted and disturbed others, Michael would have to pay a fine for causing that disturbance. After that, we saw one of his bodyguards who came out and told us that Michael is thinking of all of us, but he can’t come behind the window because this is one of the hotel’s rules. We stayed there until 7 p.m., and then, with great disappointment, we went back to his window, which was on the top floor. Some people started shouting, and after a while we saw Michael’s hand waving for us, but because it was dark, nothing was clear. The weather was very cold and we were all hungry. Some people even slept in front of the hotel overnight. A little later, we saw pizza boxes that Michael had sent to us. Tears came to my eyes—how much Michael cared about us.

On the second day, I was at the hotel entrance at 10 a.m. In the morning, everyone knew that Michael would be sleeping until noon, so we didn’t wait for him to come out. But we saw his children waving at us from behind the window. After 3 o’clock, slowly a rumor started that Michael had gone to one of the nearby shops. But since we didn’t see his car leaving the parking lot, we didn’t believe it. Fans scattered, and each person went to the place they thought Michael might be. I and a few others stayed in front of the hotel, and suddenly we saw him come out of the hotel’s parking lot. We ran toward him. I stepped forward and gave him the painting sign I had drawn for him. He asked, “Is this Martin Luther King?” And I said yes. He said, “It’s very beautiful—did you draw this?” And I said yes. He smiled, and then I said that Iranians really love you, but he disappeared into the crowd. My heart was pounding. I didn’t know exactly where he was going. Then I found out he had gone to the cinema. We waited there until he returned, but this time Michael was inside his blue car, and we couldn’t see him. After that, all of us ran to his room window again and started calling out to him. We chanted: "king of pop _ stay in london _ unbrreakable _ invincible _ apple head _ sony sucks _ dorchester sucks _ bashir sucks _ justice done _ innocent _ proud to be michael jackson fan, tom sneddon is a cold man _ blancket, we love you _ victory" And in response to all these chants, he would appear in front of the window. This same thing happened again the next night. And on Tuesday, at 10 a.m., he left London for Bahrain. Michael was laughing, but his eyes were sad. His face, up close, was more beautiful than in photos. He was very kind and big-hearted. His surroundings— even his bodyguard—were also warm and kind. This experience proved to me that I follow the right person. May his great spirit live forever." Source: Aida - Childhood.persianblog.com
