Michael’s Bad Luck Has Foyle Worried

Michael has asked the manager of one of London’s biggest bookstores to close the store doors to customers for a few hours so he can visit. But the staff at Foyle are worried and waiting for his arrival. This is because on Tuesday he missed two prior appointments to appear at this store.

One of the store employees tells The Independent: “We closed the store for him, but he didn’t come. Then he called and asked that the store doors be closed for his visit in the evening. But he still didn’t come.”

“We’re a bit doubtful about his coming. But last year, during a visit to the store, he spent a very large amount buying books related to films and plays. He must have a very big library.”

Christopher Foyle, the store manager, says: “This is true, and we hope he will come to this store soon to buy.”
