Prosecutor’s press conference after the verdict of Michael Jackson’s acquittal

Prosecutor Thomas Sneddon answered reporters’ questions from behind the podium, and it was completely clear from his grim face that he was not satisfied with the verdict.

“We do not choose the victims and their families. We do our job. I do not intend to apologize for everything I have done.”

“We did the right thing for the right reasons.”

“My record of accusations against Mr. Jackson has absolutely, and without any ambiguity, no connection to the current case.”
