Recent comments by Michael Jackson’s lawyer

Following Michael Jackson’s acquittal on ten charges related to child abuse, his lawyer said that from now on the singer will not share his bed with young boys.

Thomas Mesero, Michael Jackson’s main attorney, told the network “NBC”: “He will not do this anymore. He will no longer allow this matter to harm him.” Michael Jackson, acquitted of the charges on Monday, has returned to his home “Neverland,” but he has not yet broken his silence.

Mr. Mesero said: “He will process the issue in due time. The trial has been an absolutely terrible process for him.”

In a separate interview with the U.S. network “ABC,” Mr. Jackson’s lawyer said that during his four-month trial he was “very concerned” about his client’s condition.

Mr. Mesero said: “He has lost a lot of weight and couldn’t sleep. Sometimes we would talk together at three or four in the morning.”

“Michael has been very hard on himself; this process was extremely, extremely painful and difficult for him and for his family.”

He explained what happened on Monday afternoon after Michael returned home.

He said: “We spent our time in peace. We read a little prayer; the crowd was very light and calm.”

“There was absolutely no kind of celebration, no delicate emotions. It was an intimate gathering of family members who are all thankful to God for the outcome of the trial.”
