Session 62

Today’s session resumed the discussion from the previous court session. The defense attorneys tried to persuade the judge to reconsider the decision he had made yesterday. However, Judge Melville did not change his ruling. Yesterday, the judge decided to limit one of Michael Jackson’s charges—giving alcohol to the complainant without the intent to sexually abuse him. In addition to charging the act of giving alcohol to the complainant, the prosecution claimed that Michael had done it with the intent to commit a crime. In this same session, Judge Melville stated that the jury members would be told that if they had doubts about the truth of any of the testimony from each witness, they must completely disregard it.
