Raymond Behn: Michael’s Testimony Won’t Be Needed

Michael Jackson’s spokesperson, Raymond Behn, said that during a meeting Michael held with his lawyers, it was decided that his testimony in court is not currently necessary and not essential. Raymond Behn also said that although Michael had intended to appear in the witness stand, he respects his lawyers’ decision not to have him testify. Behn added that, in his opinion, Michael’s testimony could have had a positive impact on the members of the jury. "I think he could have made a good impression on the jury. I believe we told the truth. Throughout all the court sessions, he has emphasized his innocence." Behn predicted that Michael would be acquitted of his charges and would leave the courtroom with his head held high. "His love for the children is innocent. He did not do anything wrong or commit any crime. He did not commit a murder." Behn further said that once the trial ends, Michael will never again put himself in such a sensitive situation.
