Lawsuit Against Michael Removed From the Court’s Agenda

In April 2006, Helen Harris Scott filed a strange lawsuit against Michael in the Los Angeles court. Scott claimed that in 1987, Michael tampered with the brakes of her car and released the air from her tires.

In addition to an official apology, Scott had demanded $100 million in damages from Michael.

Two days earlier, the judge ruled that the lawsuit was not fit to be heard in court and stripped it of its validity.
